The Bethlehem Steel mill in Pennsylvania is an iconic relic of a glorious industry that gave life and strength to this great country. American steel helped the country build its enormous, lasting infrastructure and win wars and most of all, continues to help us live our lives with ease, comfort and security. This prestigious relic should actually be a national monument and perhaps linked to other such industrial installations to show the new generations how America was built.
You need all lenses for this place. The wide shots will probably have to include people and modern buildings. You can close in on details in the rotting structure to get some interesting compositions as well. Night photography is not easy but on a wet, steamy night you can get some awesome shots.
