Assateague National Seashore

A beach with wild horses? When I heard that for the first time i could not even picture the scene. When I visited, I didn't want to leave! The scenes at Assateague are otherworldly. The 'ponies' are not friendly but they make for great photo subjects. Its a few hours south of NYC and a must see destination.
