Colorado National Monument

Hidden away on the western edge of Colorado up a dirt road outside Grand Junction in Fruita, Colorado is an amazing gem: the Colorado National Monument. The NPS has done a great job maintaining an excellent road up the side of the precipitous sandstone cliffs to a beautiful visitor's center and beyond. Every scene here is better than the last and the driving is very adventurous.
