Flowers are the essence of the beauty of a plant. It exists because of the beauty and uniqueness of its flowers. Some are colorful while others are shaped in such attractive ways that insects are compelled to visit them for their nectar. I have used all sorts of lenses to photograph flowers but most of the time I tend to get close with a macro.
