Katahdin, Maine
The highest mountain in Maine, and a gem in all seasons that shines in the fall when the leaves turn to gold and ruby red. It a really long trek to the remote town of Millinocket but the trip is a reward in itself. You will find a serene, wet and wild landscape with colors bursting everywhere. Make sure you have a wide angle, super telephoto and normal lens with polarizers and ND filters to capture the high contrast images.
