Once a grand gateway to a glamorous city in a free country, the TWA Flight Center remained closed and in disrepair for may years before being revived again. On a rare day when it was open to the public, I photographed this marvel of architecture and found myself in the shoes of the lucky travelers of the 60's and 70's. Saarinen's legendary design has curves and sharp angles which seem to cradle the weary traveler and elevate the senses.
Wish I was there as a traveler!
You need wide angle as well as a fast normal lens to capture this beauty.
