Winterscapes
Winter hits the Northeast US like a dose of reality. Living and walking around in New York City, we get slapped around by wind, snow, icy rain and miserable chills for at least 4 months of the year. But leave the city behind in winter and head north into the land of fantastical snowscapes and ski slopes and you realize how beautiful nature can be when decorated with white snow and crystal clear ice. Everything seems to be dormant with a palpable intensity to wake up in the spring. Most of the photos below are from Vermont and New Hampshire.
